Service Scope

The job scope file contains the details for each job.

There may be several job scopes for a particular job.

The job scope is used to combine the job program details with the corresponding job scope details to produce a job schedule entry.

Use scope type "S" for unscheduled service call.

Use a sequential scope number for normal scheduled service calls. e.g. 1

When automatically generating a service purchase order the costing used for a scope type "S" is the "ACTUAL_COST" in the job schedule not the costing in the scope record . If this cost is zero then no purchase order details will be generated for this schedule.
