Quantity Committed to Sales

QUANTITY COMMITTED TO SALES

If the line item on the sales order has a balance > 0 and has not been cancelled then it is considered in the calculation of quantity committed to sales.  

The quantity is considered committed to current sales if:

The delivery date less the items lead time is MORE than today’s date + the picking notice

The delivery date is less than today’s date + the picking notice

All other quantities are considered forward orders.
