The label template file contains the code required to print labels on a label printer attached to the network. Each label is designed by the label software supplied with the label printer. Typical label printer used by existing PBC customers are Datamax or Zebra thermal label printers. The procedure is as follows:
1.Design the label using the software supplied with the printer.
2.Use the keywords in the label that will be replaced by the PBC label print routine. See existing examples for each label for the keywords.
3.Save the label to file.
4.Go to notepad and highlight the text.
5.Copy all the text into the clipboard.
6.Go to the PBC label record and paste the text into edit box.
Template ID:
Enter the template Code without a space. Most label codes are programmed into PBC label print routines and are therefore defaulted and should not be changed. Contact PBC for any other labels to be included in the PBC software.
