Standing journals are used to process regular general ledger journals usually to distribute expenses among different departments.
If a new standing journal is similar to an existing posted standing journal then the journal being displayed can be copied by pressing the copy button

Post in Period:
Enter the period used to select the corresponding journals when posting journal with matching period.
